The automotive components sector created 11,800 jobs in the Americas in the second quarter of 2017, the most of any sector.
Software and IT services added 9957, with automotive OEM creating 5234 jobs.
Business services added 4718 jobs in the second quarter, with metals not far behind on 4568.
